Cream Cheese Banana Nut Bread

3/4  cup butter softened
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas, 4 medium
1 cup roughly chopped pecans (toasted)
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and cream cheese in mixing bowl
Slowly add the sugar
Add eggs one at a time, beating until just blended after each addition

Sift dry ingredients together
Add slowly to banana mixture, beat at low until blended
Stir in bananas, pecans and vanilla

Pour into 2 greased 8 x 4 loaf pans

Bake at 350 for one hour or until toothpick comes out clear.
You may want to cover with aluminum foil for the last 15 minutes to
prevent over browning.
Cool bread in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes and then remove from pans
and cool for 30 minutes on wire racks before slicing.
