Butterscotch Cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
(I use dark, for a richer flavor)
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Form into small one inch balls.
Press top with either pecans or cut candied cherries.
Bake in a slow oven at 275 degrees for 15-20 minutes
until set.
These cookies have only 4 ingredients. They
are easy and delicious... they melt in your
mouth!
