Quick and Easy Casserole
1 Tbsp butter
1 (14 oz) can sauerkraut and juice
2/3 cup raw rice
1 medium onion chopped
1 pound hamburger
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

One hour before serving time
Melt butter in deep heavy skillet or sauce pan
Spread sauerkraut and juice over butter
Sprinkle rice on top
Then sprinkle onions
Top with meat crumbled up
Salt and Pepper
Cover with tomato sauce
Do not mix
Cook covered over low heat for about 30 minutes

Mix before serving
Serves 4-5
