Garlic Grits Betty Lee Davis |

4 1/2 cups boiling water 1 cup grits Salt 1 stick of butter 2 sticks of garlic cheese 2 eggs Milk Corn Flake crumbs Combine water, grits and salt. Cook until grits are done. Add butter, stir until melted Add garlic chees and melt. Beat eggs in a teacup and fill with milk Add this mixture to grits. Pour mixture into buttered casserole Cover with corn flake crumbs. Dot with butter and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees (will bake longer- 1 hour till crusty on top) Yield 12 servings |
