2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
4 squares bitter chocolate
1 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups chopped BLACK walnuts or pecans (optional)
Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler or microwave.
Beat eggs and sugar together then combine with flour,
Stir in nuts and lastly chocolate mixture and vanilla
Pour into greased and floured oblong pan
Bake 45 minutes or less at 275
DO NOT OVERBAKE!
Will continue baking when removed from oven.
I usually triple this recipe
I don't measure.
Place in sauce pan:
Powdered dark chocolate, maybe 6-8 big Tbsp full
Add a little milk and strong coffee
Cook over heat a few minutes like you're doing fudge
Pouur over brownies
Cut into small squares
Freeze in tins lined with waxed paper
